Jessamine Scribner, MA, CCC-SLP


Jessamine (Miss Jess to her clients) provides a warm and caring therapy environment, centered on each child's individual goals. With a focus on increasing individual communication, she is also fostering self-confidence and self-advocacy! Jess's passion is helping provide a strong foundation in literacy. She also specializes in Childhood apraxia of speech (CAS), phonological disorders, speech sound disorders, and receptive and expressive language.
Jessamine received a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Indiana University-Purdue University of Fort Wayne (IPFW) and earned her Master's in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Cincinnati (UC). She is licensed in the State of Ohio by the Ohio Speech and Hearing Professionals Board, and holds her Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) from American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
With 7 years of experience in public education (preschool, early elementary, elementary and middle school), Jess brings knowledge of academic expectations and understanding of eligibility requirements, working with an interdisciplinary team and providing RTI and MTSS interventions.
She lives in Liberty Township with her husband Patrick of 20 years, her 3 children and 5 year old coon hound Sadie. She loves to read, play in her garden and hike as often as she can. She enjoys visits to the ocean in North Carolina and fishing in Ohio with her dad.
